Sub-Regions - Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester BME Network will strengthen networking of BME Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations across Greater Manchester and improve the standard of infrastructure support by delivering a programme of focused work addressing need and sharing good practice and resources.

The project will achieve this by ensuring that each local authority area has an effective network for local BME VCS organisations; that VCS organisations currently supporting BME VCS are better able to meet the development needs of those communities; and that a Greater Manchester network is developed to promote the interests of BME VCS, identifying changing needs, co-ordinating activity and developing the sustainability of local support.
