AWAZ (Cumbria)

• Provide a "voice” for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) groups/organisations to influence strategy, policy and public service delivery in Cumbria.
• Provide specialist information, advice, guidance and infrastructure development support for Black and Minority Ethnic Voluntary and Community Organisations.
• Work in partnership with various Voluntary and Community Sector and Public Sector organisations in their efforts to promote diversity and reduce racial inequalities.
